If most of you are like me, your only soda concerns are 1. Do I have enough? and 2.  Where can I get more tasty beverages?  Luckily Sodasamurai.com has taken care of those, but unfortunately we need to add a third to the list…Soda Taxes.

If you haven’t heard already, the government wants to tax your soda.  They say it will make us skinnier and solve all our countries financial problems.  Now, I don’t know if a penny-an-ounce tax can really cure the world’s financial ills (in fact, I highly doubt it), but I do know I sure as heck don’t want to be paying an extra 12% just to enjoy an ice cold Pearson Bros. Cream Soda!

So folks, the next time you are nursing a cold one, hop on to your local congressman’s website and let them know you hope the only inevitability is the death of soda taxes.
